Visiting

We left Clearwater Fl. for good Sunday. S got most of Friday off so we got the uhual packed early and spent Sat. saying bye to friends. We are really going to miss all of our friends in Clearwater and hope to stay in touch. I think the move really hit us Fri. while we were with friends and then again on Sunday as S told his 5th graders goodbye and taught his last Sunday School class. The class put a banner and photo album together that really touched him.

Many have been asking what our plans are and when we hit the road for Ak. So our current tentative plans have us in Ga for a month visiting with family and friends. My brother and his wife are expecting so we will be here until the baby comes and help them out. We will then head to Las Vegas to visit with S sister and family. After spending a few days with them we will head to Anchorage. If everything goes as planned we should reach Anchorage around 5days after leaving Vegas. We will rest for a day or so then head to Homer where we will catch a ferry that will take us the rest of the way to Kodiak. We are hoping to be in Kodiak before the 1st of May. We will miss all of our family and friends in Fl., Ga, and Vegas. However, we are also looking forward to friends we will meet in Ak and the adventure of the road trip.
